Diwali Tour in Jaipur

Diwali is India's annual festival of lights, where every house is decorated with earthen lamps and lights to celebrate this traditional Hindu festival. The dates of this festival vary which is according to the Hindu calendar, but is mostly in the months of late October to early or mid November.
The whole sky is lit up in fireworks which are freely available on shops for everyone.

You can shop for Indian clothing or enjoy different sweets known as mithais at various sweet shops. You can also visit Hindu temples during the evening to observe the prayers and rituals. Every shop is decorated and most offer good discounts on their products such as garments, electronics, souvenirs and dry fruits etc.

It is also recommended to take a late night drive around the city to view decorations of various monuments, shops, malls and government establishments.

Holi Tour in Jaipur

Holi is also known as the festival of colours and is one of the most popular festivals of Hinduism. On this day people play with colors, flower petals and water with music and dance. It is believed that this day everyone forgives all the misdeeds amongst the friends and family and starts fresh.
Sweets like Gujia (Sweet stuffing with fried flour coating), salty snacks like Bhujia (fried fine pieces of Gram flour batter) and drinks like Thandai (Sweet mix of herbs and dry fruits in milk) are served almost everywhere.

Kite Flying Festival in Jaipur

Kite festival or traditionally known as Makkar Sankranti in India is celebrated  all over especially in the north such as Rajasthan and Jaipur. On this day people the festival is celebrated by flying kites from dawn to dusk and relishing several sweet and salty snacks thought out the day. There is also private music and dance in groups organized by locals on top of their rooftops. The kites flyers have a open competition of cutting each others kites and dominating the skies. You will see many kites in the sky fighting for dominance.
